ABOUT US
Our Story
The Mosaic Project was founded to meet a growing need: churches and faith-based organizations with a heart for service often lack the systems and strategies to sustain that calling.
After more than a decade leading P.E.R.K. Consulting and growing Minority Christian Women Entrepreneurs Network (MCWEN) - a national movement of minority entrepreneurs, our founder Andrena Sawyer recognized a consistent theme — strong faith, but weak infrastructure.
The Mosaic Project exists to close that gap.
We help churches strengthen their boards, mobilize their volunteers, and build cultures that graciously navigate tough conversations while reflecting both excellence and inclusivity.
Our mission is simple: to see faith communities thrive — not just spiritually, but organizationally.

Our Approach
-
Faith-informed, practical solutions: Grounded in biblical principles, delivered with real-world expertise.
-
Collaborative process: We listen first, then co-create strategies that fit your ministry’s unique context.
-
Long-term vision: We don’t just train for today. We build capacity for tomorrow.
“…Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.”
— 1 Corinthians 14:26b

Our Commitment
We believe thriving churches create thriving communities.
When ministries are equipped with the right tools and strategies, they multiply their impact — reaching more people, serving more effectively, and leaving a lasting legacy.
